Awesome! The only downside is the aim system
Thank you! Could you tell me what the main issue is with the aim system?
Hello! Maybe I misunderstood the controls, but I found it very difficult to adjust the camera rotation while trying to avoid enemy attacks. Since the aiming line only works horizontally, most of the time I don't have time to gain space/dodge and adjust the camera rotation at the same time. So I adopted two strategies: run away from the enemy to have time to turn around, or enter the room in the correct camera position (for example, the room on the second floor with three enemies, who wake up after collecting the items from the previous room). The worst situation is when the enemy appears behind you, there is no time to react and shoot, just run to turn around/aim correctly. Initially, I played with the Xbox controller(mapped with xppader), but then I played with the mouse to control the camera and found it I can react/rotate faster then the tilt buttons.
I think the game doesn't need a aiming refactor, just some sort of assist, like aim lock or quick turn like the old Resident Evil games.
I really like the game! I think deserve a comercial release!
I loved what I played, great job!
nice retro
I haven't had the chance to play, but I just wanted to mention that the art style is amazing!
Thank you!
