A character asset pack, which contains an archer.  The number of frames and sizes are listed below. In some cases I've added duplicate frames, depending on the necessity of a delay. Number of Frames:

Idle - 8 frames, 128x128

Melee - 28 frames, 128x128

Ranged - 14 frames, 180x128

Dash - 14 frames, 128x128

Run - 8 frames, 128x128

Death - 24 frames, 128x128

Jump - 12 frames, 128x128

Notes:

Feel free to use and modify the character depending on your current project. If you have any suggestions regarding other characters, items or backgrounds, which can fit with this pack, please let me know. In case you want to offer me credits, please use my current username. Also, keep in mind that you can use this in your commercial projects, but please do not resell the assets individually.

here is a problem. I'm making a game, and there is tiles in 32x32 and knight 58x32 that you made. when i import edited gifs, this character his height is 40x that is bigger than a tile in 8 pixels(

Can you make individual sprites for the ranged attack animation my character ends up blurry.:/

Yes, you're right the animation does come out blurry, thats because Unity is compressing the image asset.

If you are using Unity, on the attack animation image, change the Max Size from 2048 to 4096. That will fix the blurry issues.

It's worked. Thanks :

Hey OcO I was wondering if you could do a female version of this great asset, it wouldn't take much just a few edits.

Hello.  Can someone explain to me how to turn a png strip into a gif?  I am just testing out, but I can't figure out how i would use this.

Awesome work. I'm having an issue with it though. The sprite looks fine in the idle animation, but when I play the bow shooting animation, the sprite turns blurry. I cropped the individual sprites in that animation to match the dimensions on the others, but I'm still getting blurriness. Not sure what it is about that set in particular.

Keep in mind that the bow shooting animation is 180 X 128, while the rest are 128X128.

This pack is immersive! I have one question: is it possible to order from you a character? Sorry for misstakes, not from England :-)

No worriers, I'm not a native speaker either. I don't really do commisions, but I'm glad you like my work :D

Ok, thanks for answer)

very cool

I love the style of the graphics. I was wondering if you could make some other animations such as crouch, ladder climb and wall slide. Those would be perfect for a game I am making. I would be willing to pay for them.

The image is distorted when I enlarge its size. What should I do?

Any pixel image needs to be enlarged equally on the X and Y axis, where the new height and width are factors of the original height and width.  E.g. if you have a 16x16 image, you can enlarge it to 32x32, or 64x64 and have it not be distorted. By the same token if you enlarge a 16x16 image up to 24x24, there is no way to evenly distribute the pixels and you will get nixels/distortion.

I am the same user, this is another account. I also know what you said, my problem is that if the picture size is 12x12, when I make this size 13x13, it becomes distorted. I said it might be from Rar compression and I removed the compression but unfortunately the situation is still the same.

Beautiful graphics! I used this for my game's main character in the Godot Wild Jam, as well as some other of your graphics. The sprite looks really good and works with a lot of games :)

Here's the game. I hope I used your graphics properly :)

Hey there, the file you posted for both versions is broken. It's empty.

Hi there. I just tested both versions and they seems to be fine.

I have sort of the same issue; the one with backgrounds is empty, the other one gives an error when opening it.

Yeah still the same issue to me

Will there ever be Animations for climbing ladders for both this character and the knight?
I'm making a game and i really like your artwork, bought some and probably gonna buy it all when i get there in the development, i would gladly pay for this as well, maybe others would too.
Thanks for the answer in advance!

Before I actually download this. I am currently setting up tutorial stuff for a 2D platform game. I am in search of assets that other users can use as well. I just wanted to make sure this would be ok before I do it. It seems as though I can but asking first

No issue with me. Add the link here as well once you're done. I'd love to see it :D

Sounds good. I am currently looking for some tiles for the platform right now to go with these characters

Ahh, i cant open this .rar archive( All your asssets dont open with my 7-zip file manager. Do you know anyrhing what i can do?

Hi there. The archive should work with both 7-Zip and Winrar. Have you tried using Winrar?

I haven't winrar( Archive don't crashed? 100%?

Hi, try using this app to open the file: https://apps.apple.com/es/app/the-unarchiver/id425424353?mt=12

Hey friend, this character looks amazing. I pretend to use it in a project :)
I just have one question: What is the better way to play the animation? They're all in a png file,so,do i need to cut them one by one in photoshop or something?

Im using Unity

Can't you use the sprite editor in unity?

This character is seriously cool. I'm going to use it in a project for a game class I'm doing.  I'll post the itch.io link when it's finished!

That's awesome, good luck!

OcO, all these packs are seriously amazing!

People are asking you about the license, because they want to use the art and they want to know if it's in that category of "open" assets. If you see the free packs as a way to make yourself known, please consider an open source license! This allows everyone the peace of mind that they can use it without legal risks in the future. There are whole websites dedicated to art like this (like opengameart.org).

You can decide to allow commercial (CC-BY) use or not (CC-BY-NC) with those licenses. If you don't, a lot of people (like me) will have to pass because usually at the beginning of a project we want to keep the option of selling the game.

I say all of that because one of your pack says "please don't resell my work", which probably means not to resell the art by itself, but that is not clear and introduces a legal risk.

You have the absolute right to choose your license, and people will follow them (and give credit! it's a requirement of most licenses except CC0). And thanks for the amazing art!

Hi, thanks for the heads up. I've modified the phrasing a bit. That's pretty much what I meant: people can use my packs in their commercial projects, but not resell them as their own.

Great, thank!

Can I use your work industrially?

Yup, feel free to use it as you like.

Thank you!

Are you working on a game with all of these assets?
