Under the cover of darkness, a shrouded figure creeps into an abandoned village, the only sound his footfalls echoing ominously through the deserted streets. The mysterious stranger is on a mission to bring down the infamous voievod known as "The Dragon". With a reputation for burning and hanging his victims in a twisted display of power, "The Dragon" has become more than a man, a legend whispered in hushed tones and spoken of with both reverence and fear.
A thick layer of fog has settled upon his castle and madness has shrouded the minds of his people. Their eyes have become milk white, and they will attack any trespasser on sight. Is this the work of that mad man or something more sinister?
A perilous journey awaits those who challenge the infamous tyrant, as the stranger sets out to bring an end to his reign of terror. Navigating the twisted halls of the tyrant's castle, he must use his skills to overcome the dangers that lie in wait.
Inspired by "Castlevania" and "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time".
Explore a war torn land and uncover its many secrets. Discover what lies beneath the expansive and interconnected walls of the castle and make your way up towards your target.
Combine sword fighting with verticality to outmaneuver your foes. A easy to learn, but hard to master system, where using all the skills you have at your disposal will be the key to success.
Death is not the end! Your powers over time and space offer you the greatest advantage. Rewind or slow down time, reverse gravity or completely lock your enemies in place.
Making allies is an important step, but not everyone will agree with your decisions. Choosing to side with one shall inevitably make another into an enemy. Neutrality is rarely an option!

This is great. Will you be releasing the full version on itch.io? :D
Hey man! really cool game, Im a game programmer and i'm working on this cool idea for a 2D game. If your up for a little side project and collaboration hit me up :)
Kind regards
Nathanael
I had fun playing throughout this demo the combat felt smooth and there were a lot of abilities already that when mastered I'm sure would be very fun. I wasn't too great at using them all together effectively but it was still fun. Cool to see that there were different dialogue options so you choose what kind of personality your character has. The controls were somewhat hard because I'm not used to just using the keybuttons and no mouse I'm sure they work out well with practice so I decided to switch to my Xbox controls. They felt a lot easier I just still wasn't used to the linear controls of the Crosspad directional movement. Implementing a joystick control option would definitely help at least for me. There was a lot of skill put into the pixel art of this game because it looked great. The first obstacle I guess you could say was the red spike part when you jump on the top left of the screen and take you to that moving dungeon. That part was difficult but more in annoying way because of the timing of the spikes when you kill the last enemy of the wave it doesn't let u go down immediately it seems to pause for a second while the red spikes are coming down still and I died to that a lot it just felt dumb sometimes. But I eventually got it and got the crimson armor which was a cool little reward. And finally, the last part where I fought the boss felt fast-paced and exciting learning the best times to attack and shoot the white thingy. Now, where it gets interesting is during his second phase was hard as hell lol cuz of having to wall climb and kill the first two enemies and run back and forth while the boss chases you it's definitely a challenge id say the game overall is a decently hard game harder than most id say at least so far (or maybe I'm just not used to these type of games most similar I played to this was hollow knight). Not gonna lie I cheesed the boss in the second phase because it was just too hard for me to simultaneously wall run and jump around while hitting the boss at the same time haha, but I'm sure with enough tries I could've done it how it was supposed to. But the way I cheesed the boss was after killing the first guy up top id just hold the wall run on the right corner and dodge whenever the boss dashed towards me and hit him as many times as I could. Overall was a fun play and id be willing to try it again in the future.
Thanks for the feedback! :D
So...I will definitely want this. But will there be a Linux version?
Well this looks amazing.
I would expect no less from OcO.
I love mixing of dark souls and castlevania elements. The gameplay is fantastic. Also the pixel art it's awesome, as all of your assets you posted here.
Looking forward for the full version.
Thank you!
Fun demo! Looking forward the next update.
Small issue when rewinding time while the Boss is teleporting, he'll be invisible while attacking until he uses his teleport again.
Thanks for letting me know!
Done! It should be fixed now.
